Parks and Recreation

Kayenta's Parks and Recreation department is committed to serving the best in community based reacreational activities and facilities. Located at the Kayenta Community Center, there is a state of the art Skateboard & BMX park, a beatifully shaded Gazebo, fun playground, and an array of soccer and baseball fields. In keeping with family traditions of play, the Kayenta Township is pleased to have been a vital part in making such facilities a reality for all who wish to have a place to get the body moving. Local and distant skaters alike, make the daily pilgrimage to Kayenta's professional-scale skate park. BMX bike riders are also common attendees as they all push their skills to the limits!
